Today, I've prepared a post about my visit to a hotspot cafe with a highly unique atmosphere located in Huam-dong, Seoul: #Undept!

π The Mysterious Cave Entrance

One of the biggest charm points of Cafe Undept is this cave-like entrance! As you walk down the narrow path surrounded by stone walls, it gives off a mysterious sensation, almost as if you are being sucked into a secret, hidden space right in the middle of the city. γ γ
The rough texture of the stones combined with the soft, ambient lighting makes the entrance the absolute perfect photo zone to snap the shot of a lifetime! γ γ γ
☕ Cozy & Aesthetic Interior & Bar Seating
When you open the automatic glass doors and step inside, a warm, cozy, wood-toned space unfolds—the exact opposite of the rough exterior!
A portion of the ceiling is made of glass, so having that beautiful natural light pouring in was just amazing. γ γ There is also an outdoor terrace-like area, which looks absolutely perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee outside on a nice, sunny day.
Towards the back of the interior, there is a long Bar table. It has a luxurious, calm atmosphere that makes you feel like you've just walked into a high-end whiskey bar. It seems like the perfect spot to come alone and quietly read a book or get some work done!
π― The Coffee of a Lifetime! Signature 'Malt Latte'
And now, the highly anticipated coffee!!!
If you visit Undept, the one menu item you unconditionally, absolutely must try is the 'Malt Latte'.
The moment I took my first sip, my eyes literally popped wide open! γ γ γ The deep, nutty latte base is enhanced with a uniquely rich flavor profile. It is not overly sweet, yet it delivers a profound and deep taste that is truly a masterpiece. γ γ
Sitting at the bar and watching them carefully prepare the coffee made it taste even better! γ γ γ The coffee cups and saucers also match the cafe's aesthetic perfectly, making it great for photos!
π Final Verdict
From the mysterious cave-like entrance to the cozy and aesthetic interior, the bar-vibe seating, and the unforgettable taste of the 'Malt Latte'! It was such a feel-good day discovering a hidden gem of a cafe right here in Huam-dong.
If you want to taste the coffee of a lifetime in a quiet, highly atmospheric place, I strongly recommend 'Undept' in Huam-dong! I will absolutely be revisiting soon just to drink that Malt Latte again.
